Juanita R. Cooper

Juanita R. Cooper, 80, of Senatobia, MS passed away Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. She is survived by her spouse, Harris Cain; daughters, Robin V. Baker (Mike) and Anita T. Forbish; son, Hugh McGehee Taylor III (Kathleen T.); grandchildren, Taylor Castleberry, Hugh M. Taylor IV, Troutt Taylor, Meriwether Taylor, John Thomas Taylor, Justin Hopkins, Kyle Baker, Hannah Battle and Lindsey Criswell and great grandchildren, Lux Hopkins and Abigail Castleberry. She was preceded in death by husband, Hugh M. Taylor, Jr. and grandson, Nick Castleberry. Juanita attended Thyatira H.S. where she played basketball. In addition to being a homemaker, Juanita worked in retail for Alice's Dress Shop and as a cosmetologist and manager for Merle Norman studio. She was a member of Como United Methodist Church. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research hospital. Pallbearers for the service were Robert Roberson, Lester Roberson, Terry Bernard, Jimmy Ferguson, Tracy Vest, Tim McFarlin, Justin Hopkins, John Thomas Taylor, Troutt Taylor, Taylor Castleberry, Kyle Baker and Hugh M. Taylor IV.
