Karen Mackie Tate

Karen Mackie Tate, 77, of Senatobia, MS passed away January 7, 2026 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Karen loved spending time with her family and watching her grandsons play sports. She was an animal lover who had a heart for rescue. Her constant companions were her dogs Tux and Blanca. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Danny St. John; her second husband, Robert Tate; her parents, James Montgomery Mackie, Sr. and Kathrynn Rutledge Mackie; and brother-in-law, Tom Jones. Karen is survived by her son, Erik St. John (Brianne); sister, Jamie Jones; brother, James “Mack” Mackie (Vicki); grandchildren, Langston and Mason St. John; and her two special dogs, Tux and Blanca.
