Katie Irene Boling Hensley

Katie Irene Boling Hensley, 100, of Crockett, MS passed away peacefully Friday, September 19, 2025 at her residence.  She was a faithful member of the Senatobia Church of Christ.  She taught Bible classes all her adult life and enjoyed sharing her love for Jesus with those around her.  She enjoyed gardening and being with her family.  There was not a day that she did not have her Bible open to study the Word.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Hensley and her daughter, Betty Hensley Smith.  Katie is survived by her brother, Albert Boling, her daughter, Marie Humphrey, her daughter Barbara Newman (Wayne).  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gary Humphrey, Glenn Humphrey (Lori), Robin Lyons, Darren Humphrey, Amy Vergara (Ari), Joanne Swanson (Scott), Rachel Halsell (Eric), and a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
