Kaye Morris Simpson, 77, of Senatobia, MS passed away August 13, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Desoto. She is survived by her daughter, Lacey Beach (John) of Southaven, MS, beloved partner, Darrell Simpson, grandson, Matthew Beach, sister-in-law, Betty Morris and a host of extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert R. “Babe” and Irma Morris, and brother Reid Morris.
“KK”, as she was affectionately known, was a retired Special Education teacher. After retirement, she continued to educate the children of friends and family, as a caregiver and tutor. Kaye was an avid animal lover. She had a passion for rescuing dogs and cats. She leaves behind seven rescue cats, which she thought of as her babies. Kaye loved sports, especially SEC football. She was a volunteer with the Tate County, Mississippi Republican party. She was of the Christian Faith. KK deeply loved her family and friends. She will be remembered for her enthusiasm, sense of humor, bright smile and laughter. KK deeply loved her family and friends and will be truly missed.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the ASPCA or animal rescue of donor’s choice.
