Kenneth L. “Kenny” Sowell, 73, of Greenleaf, MS passed away at his home on Monday, April 6, 2026.  He served in the National Guard for six years. Kenny loved his family and will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Lisa Sowell; sons, Jeffrey Sowell (Sonya) and Justin Sowell (Cheryl); brothers, Bill Sowell (Joyce) and Don Sowell (Shelia); grandchildren, Landon Sowell, Elizabeth Davis, Sara Beth Sowell, Baylor Sowell, Zander Sowell, and Kenneth Sowell; and great granddaughter, Copelynn Mae Davis. Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Gladys Sowell. Pallbearers for the service will be Landon Sowell, Baylor Sowell, Zander Sowell, Kenneth Sowell, Jeremy Massey, and Perk Johnston. Honorary pallbearers will be Anthony Owens, Hugh Allen Massey, Ja Davis, and Peyton Liddell.
