Kenneth William Burris

Kenneth W Burris,71, of Coldwater, MS passed away peacefully in his home October 20, 2025. He was an avid outdoorsman and a devoted family man. Kenneth enjoyed hunting, fishing, tending bees, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a man of many talents. Kenneth enjoyed nothing more than breakfast at Ma Vick's with his friends and watching his hometown football team, the Marceline Tigers. He was a college graduate of Missouri University of Science and Technology in Rolla, Missouri. He lived a life dedicated to his work with Caterpillar as a metallurgical engineer. 

Preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Burris, Parents, Jim and Carol Conaway, and brother, Ricky Burris. Survived by his son, Christopher Burris (Kate) of Coldwater, MS; stepdaughter, Amy Jacobus Rushing (Curtis); stepson, Aaron Jacobus; Grandchildren, Sage Rushing of Boulder Junction, WI, Payton Rushing of Elkhorn, WI, Alexis Lyon of Olive Branch, MS, Allysa Nunley (Aaron)of Lamar, MS, Allison Hernandez (Benjamin)of Houston, TX, Johnathon Brewster of Coldwater, MS; great-grandson, Walker Nunley.

Celebration of life and internment will be held at a later date in Marceline, Missouri.
