Obituary
LaTasha Monique Ward was born June 25, 1980 in Sardis, MS to Mildred Ward and Michael E. Lewers. She accepted Christ as her personal Savior and joined Cherry St. M.B. Church. Later she joined Emmanuel Baptist Church and remained a member until her death on April 22, 2023.
She was a graduate of North Panola High School class of 1999. After completing school she worked various jobs in the culinary industry, until she became disabled.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Ward; her grandparents, John Henry Ward, William and Wyvonnie Lewers; her uncle, William Lewers, Jr.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, SamTasia Johnson; son, Carlos Brassell Jr.; her grandmother, Marie Ward; her father, Michael E. Lewers. Forever remembered by her siblings, Jaquita Dandridge, TruMichael Lewers, Deontae Lewers; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
