Larry C. Alexander

Larry C. Alexander, 77, of Memphis, TN passed away December 8, 2024 at Shepherd Hospice in Southaven, MS surrounded by his loving family. Larry was a Vietnam veteran having proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. He worked for various other companies throughout his career, predominately in retail and the beauty supply sector. He was a member of Featherston Chapel AME. His family will remember him for his outgoing personality, his uplifting spirit and always having fun. He lived life to the fullest. Larry leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Brenda Alexander; daughter, Jana Alexander of Memphis, TN; son, Larry Alexander, Jr. of Memphis, TN; sisters, Corena Alexander of Olive Branch, MS and Catherine Jackson of Senatobia, MS; brothers, J.W. Alexander, Jr. of Huntsville, AL, Johnny Alexander (Yovonda) of San Antonio, TX, and Eric Alexander (LaRachel) of Byhalia, MS; grandchildren, Lacretia C. Davis (Decardious), Javian Alexander, and Quinton Gwynn (Ariel); 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, J.W. and Gladys Alexander; sister, Brenda Lou Alexander; and brothers, Charlie Alexander and Dennis Alexander.

Visitation will be held Friday, December 20, 2024 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Pate-Jones Funeral Home in Senatobia. There will also be a time of visitation Saturday, December 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. He will be laid to rest at the West TN Veterans Cemetery.
