Linda Hankins went home to her Lord and Savior on May 25, 2025, while surrounded by her family at home.
Linda was born on August 6, 1947 to Ruby and James O. Clemons.
She was a lively person with a bubbly personality who loved working with the public. She was a hair stylist for many years and served as the Postmaster of the Sarah Post Office. She served as an Act Teens Leader at First Baptist Church of Strayhorn as well as working for the Strayhorn Water Association. She and Larry operated Quickprint for many years. She then worked for M & M Promotions before deciding to retire.
Linda was a breast cancer survivor but succumbed to a progressive heart disease. She is survived by her husband, Larry, of 58 years; children, Christy (Darin), Hank (Sherri), Joey (Kim); 6 granddaughters, Caitlyn, Lauren, Courtney, Rylee, MaKayla, and Anna; one great granddaughter, Carley; her brother, Jim Clemons (Annette); along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Frances Manning and her brother, Roger Clemons.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Strayhorn Baptist Church.
