Lowell Brown

Lowell Brown, 83, of Coldwater, MS, passed away on August 12, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto. Lowell was a veteran proudly serving in the Air Force. He worked for 25 years at the Tate County Co-op as a counter salesman where he developed many long lasting relationships. Lowell loved God, his family, friends and all things outdoors, especially working in his garden, fishing  and  watching hummingbirds from his front porch swing. 

Lowell is survived by his devoted wife of 33 years, Dorothy Brown of Coldwater, MS; daughter, Karen Burriss (Bob) of Collierville, TN; step-sons, David Lentz (Juanita) of Senatobia, MS and Jimmy Lentz (Lisa) of Coldwater, MS; sister, Reba Wright of Hernando, MS; brother, Carl Brown of Millington, TN; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sons, Steven Brown and Timothy Brown; parents, U.L. and Viola Brown; sister, Ural Myers; and brothers, Doyal Brown and Joe Brown.  

Lowell was a member of Coldwater First Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be sent to the Missions Fund at the church, 465 Central Ave., Coldwater, MS 38618.
