Margaret Ann Potts Towery

Margaret Ann Potts Towery, 78, of Crenshaw, MS passed away Sunday, December 14, 2025, at her residence. She was a member of Crenshaw Baptist Church and taught Sunday School there for 50 years. Margaret loved flowers, her garden, her community and especially her church family. She held many titles over the years but the one she was most proud of was as Mimi to her two grandchildren. Margaret leaves behind her husband of 57 years, Johnny Towery, Jr.; son, Justin Towery (Jennifer); brother, Terry Potts (Penny); grandchildren, Alexandra and Lawson Towery. Margaret was preceded in death by her father, W.W. Potts and her mother, Jewel Segars. The family would like thank Tammy Cowsert, with Gentiva Hospice, who was a wonderful nurse and friend to Margaret. Memorial donations may be sent to Crenshaw Baptist Church or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
