Marie was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Ward; daughter, Mildred Ward; sisters, Virgie Mae Jones, Fannie Mae Murphy, and Laverne Callicutt; brothers, William Callicutt, Oliver Danner, and Roman Stewart Callicutt, and grandchild, LaTosha Brassell.
