Mark Albert Childress

Mark Albert Childress, 66, of Hernando, MS passed away Monday, March 10, 2025. He was born on January 10, 1959, in Memphis, TN to the late Al and Lynn Childress. Mark graduated from Towering Oaks School and State Tech. He was an avid outdoorsman. Mark is survived by his sister, Debby Childress Mattei (Chuck) of Memphis, TN; nephews, Drew Dennis (Shantee) of Gulf Breeze, FL and Bret Dennis of Tampa, FL, and six great nieces and nephews, McKenzie, Loden, Arden, Penny, Pearl, and Wolfe. He was preceded in death by his best friend, Neal Lindsey (Joni) of Hernando, MS. Mark promised to always look out for Neal’s children, Kathryn Brown (Ellis) and Clayton Lindsey. He kept his promise faithfully and cared for them as his own. Mark and Neal are together again fishing and enjoying the great outdoors as they always had before.
