Mary Alice White Whittle
Obituary
Mary Alice White Whittle arrived at her heavenly home on April 9, 2023. She was born to William Herman White of Toccopola, MS and Amaryllis Laverne Smith White Self of Kosciusko, MS. As a devoted wife and mother, she proudly set the standard by completing her education to earn a degree in Forestry Conservation. She leaves behind her loving husband of 35 years, Rodger Dale Whittle, Sr. of Lula MS; two sons, Rodger Dale Whittle, Jr. (Tiffany) of Lula, MS, Jeremy Wayne Whittle (Manilyn) of Senatobia, MS; one daughter, Samantha Michelle Stacks (Jarred) of Walls, MS; three grandsons, Tidus William Stacks, Jeremy Wayne Ancang Whittle, Jr., Lucas Noel Ancang Whittle; three granddaughters, Elizabeth Rose Whittle, Katherine Amaryllis Whittle and Elena May Stacks; two sisters, Norma Sue White Whittle (Andrew) of Senatobia, MS and Melinda White Tallent (David) of Senatobia, MS; two brothers, Steven White (Betty) of Byhalia, MS and Jimmy Dale White (Peggy) of Ripley, MS and many nieces and nephews that she loved as her own.
She was preceded in death by her father, William Herman White; brother, William Floyd White and grandson, Eli Dale Stacks. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Mississippi Wildlife Conservation.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
