Michael "Tommy" Hissong

Michael “Tommy” Hissong, 55, of Arkabutla, MS passed away Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital Desoto.  He was a member of the Mississippi Band of Choctaw and a Lieutenant with the Tunica County Sheriff’s Department Special Operations. Tommy enjoyed music, chess, and drones. He loved his family dearly and was always willing to help others. Tommy also loved his dogs. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Ann Hissong; daughters, Bethany Troutt (Josh) and Sierra Hissong; sons, Michael Hissong (Michelle), Ethan Hissong, and Gage Hissong (Abby); sister, Cheryal West (Russell); brothers, Greg Hissong (Lee) and Daryl Hissong; grandchildren, Elijah, Abel, Lilian, Ezekiel, Alyssa Starr, Harmony Rayne, Rowdy, and Elijah Grey and many close friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sadie Hissong and brothers, Eddie Hissong, Jr. and Earl Hissong.
