Mildred Price Frayser, 93, of Whiteville, Tennessee, passed away on December 5, 2025.
Mildred devoted 43 years of service to Wonder Bread Bakery. She also served as Recording Secretary for the Union for more than four decades. She gave generously of her time and talents, volunteering with numerous organizations throughout her life.
Mildred served as president of Parents Without Partners in Memphis, offering support, classes, and training to those who were widowed or navigating life as single parents. During her time with the organization, she taught dance classes and also shared her love of dance at the Paramount Ballroom in Memphis.
Mildred was a gifted seamstress who created beautiful wedding gowns, clothing for her family, and beautiful quilts. Her eye for beauty extended into interior decorating and floral design—talents her family admired deeply. She was also a member of the Homemakers Class in Oakland, Tennessee.
A woman of strong Christian faith, Mildred attended Liberty Baptist Church during her years in Whiteville.
She was preceded in death by her sons, James Howard Frayser, Jr. and Chester Clarence Frayser; sister, Helen Jones; brothers, Wallace Price and William Chester Price, Jr.; special aunt, Mary Helen Barmer; and two great-grandchildren.
Mildred is survived by her daughters, Diane Poole and Betty Hubbard; sister, Linda Maxwell; nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Her legacy of kindness, creativity, and service will be cherished by all who knew and loved her.
