Obituary

Milton Coleman, 86, of Sardis, MS passed away March 11, 2023 at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo, MS. Milton served in the Army National Guard and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved gardening and loved to play and watch baseball. His favorite team was the Atlanta Braves.

Milton was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Annie Coleman; siblings, Nora Fitts, Robert Coleman, Virginia Stevens, Glynn Cooper Darby, Ruth Bryant, Henry Coleman, Jr., Anne Christmas, Limuel Coleman and half-brother, Powell Coleman. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 60 years, Rosa Coleman; daughter, Judy Blann (John) of Saltillo, MS; brother, Minor Coleman of Coldwater, MS; granddaughter, Heather Little and great granddaughter, Louise Little both of Hernando, MS; and 6 nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association or to First Baptist Church Sardis where he was a member for over 50 years.
