Obituary

Myrna Laura Smith, 86, of Senatobia, MS passed away May 9, 2023. Myrna loved being a nurse. She spent her time working at the Baptist Children’s Village and loved to crochet and make ceramics. Myrna was a member of Highland Baptist Church.  She was preceded in death by her husband, J.E. Smith; son, Paul Smith and sister, Joy Smith. She leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Roger Smith (Suzie), Tim Smith, Pam Terrazas (Rob) and Deborah Jones (Ricky); brother, Archie “Bud” Strickland, Jr.; grandchildren, Andrew and Lauren Webb, Laura Gilbert, William Smith, Anita Hernandez, Adam and Billie Belshan, Crystal Jones, Kelley Waterson, Tony Luther, Sassy Luther, Sam Jones, and Matthew Jacobs; and great grandchildren, Clementine Webb, Hazel Webb, Alayna Hernandez, Natalie Hernandez, Alexander Belshan, Miah Robinson, Gavin Waterson, Autumn Waterson, Bryan Waterson, Mary Grace Peterson, Maddox Brown and Olivia Luther.

A memorial service will be held at Highland Baptist Church in Senatobia on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
