Patrick Lewis passed away May 20, 2022 at his residence. He is survived by his truly loved family of daughters Stacy Lewis McCall, Kimberly Lewis Montville, their husbands Chris McCall, Marc Montville, and grandchildren Ashley McCall, Benjamin McCall, Caleb McCall, Schell Ann Montville, and Julia Wynne Montville.
Mr. Lewis was born September 14, 1935 in St. Louis, MO. He attended Belzoni, MS high school. Mr. Lewis served in the Korean War during his enlistment in the United States Air Force. After his service Mr. Lewis attended now Delta State University as a history major and served as Student Government President. Upon graduation Mr. Lewis married Elizabeth Wynne of Coldwater, MS. Mr. Lewis’ professional career included working with Delta Council, served as President of Greenwood and Yazoo City Chambers of Commerce, and many years as director of Greenwood Public Housing Authority.
After retirement Mr. Lewis moved with his wife to Coldwater, Mississippi. They created a wonderful piece of paradise, Wynnewood Bed and Breakfast, that has been enjoyed by many friends, family and guests over the years. Not only will Mr. Lewis’ hospitality at Wynnewood be fondly remembered, but also by the many relationships that he cultivated throughout his life.
The Memorial Service for Mr. Lewis will be held at Coldwater United Methodist Church in Coldwater, Mississippi, at 3:00 Sunday afternoon May 22, 2022.
