Peggy Campbell McCombs

Peggy Campbell McCombs, 77, of Apple Valley, MN, died Saturday, March 14th at Fairview Southdale Hospital after a brief illness. 

Peggy is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Deborah McCombs Moore and Christopher Moore of Apple Valley, MN, her brother and sister-in-law, Eugene Campbell and Cora Campbell of Grand Junction, TN, and her sister-in-law, Elizabeth McCombs of Holladay, TN.  She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, James Robert McCombs, and six brothers and sisters.

Peggy moved to Minnesota in 2017, but was a long-time resident of Tate County, MS.  She was a former member of Bett Baptist Church, and a current member of First Baptist Church of Rosemount, MN.  She worked at Sycamore Bank for twenty-six years and retired in 2004 as vice president and manager of the Independence branch.  Peggy was an avid bird watcher and enjoyed seeing bald eagles on the lake at her apartment in Apple Valley.  Peggy always put the needs of others first and will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
