Phyllis Arnold Morris Obituary

Phyllis Arnold Morris, 77, of New Albany, MS passed away on Monday, March 2, 2026. For many years, Phyllis faithfully taught the ladies Sunday School class. A devoted student of the Bible, she loved studying and reading scripture. Phyllis ministered to anyone she could, always praying continually for the salvation of others. She had a special love for children and opened her home for over 20 years to care for little ones — from babies through school age — nurturing them as if they were her own. Phyllis cherished her family. She lovingly raised 4 children and later spent time caring for her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ellen Arnold, and brothers, Billy Arnold, Darrel Arnold, Ray Arnold, and Tommy Arnold. She is survived by her husband, John Morris; daughter, Lisa Hulsizer (Richard); sons, Greg Morris (Terri), Keith Morris (Keri), and Eric Morris (Kerry); grandchildren, Paige Lacker (Cody), Dylan Morris (Melanie), Sara Morris (Tanner), Emma Grisham (Trey), Kate Morris, Evan Morris, Jade Kent, Fisher Thrift, and Easton Thrift, and great grandchildren, Emerson Lacker, Laken Wren Morris, Aiden Eaves, Amelia Eaves, and Axel Eaves.
