Polly Arrington

Polly Dickerson Arrington, 89, left her earthly home on 06/07/2023 in Hot Springs, Arkansas surrounded by loved ones.

Polly was born on July 23, 1933 to M.E Dickerson and Floy Powers Dickerson in Looxahoma, Mississippi.  She loved to talk about growing up and all of the fun she had with cousins and friends. Polly was a member of the Senatobia Church of Christ.

Polly married Loyd (Badeye) Arrington on August 19, 1951. Polly and Badeye had two children, Sanford (Stan) Dickerson Arrington and Amy Ruth Arrington O’Neal.  She and Badeye loved gardening and harvesting their vegetables to share with family and friends. Polly moved to Hot Springs, AR in 2005 with her daughter and son in law after the death of her husband.

Polly was predeceased by her parents, M.E and Floy Dickerson; her husband, Loyd Arrington of 53 years; sister, Eugenia Dickerson Ellis; son, Stan Arrington; and granddaughter, Anna Arrington O’Neal. She is survived by her daughter, Amy O’Neal (James) of Hot Springs, Arkansas; her grandson, Adam (Megan) and great grandchildren, Violet and Parker of Palestine, Arkansas; nephew, Bob Ellis; niece, Jeaninne Ellis Jackson and nephew, Alan Ellis.
