Robert "Cooter" Earl Copous

Robert “Cooter” Earl Copous, 64, of Crenshaw, MS passed away June 23, 2022 at his residence. He was a veteran having served in the Army. Cooter was born on December 7, 1957 to the late Tommy Ralph and Carol Jean Copous. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Edward Copous. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Gayle Copous of Crenshaw, MS; sons, Steve Anthony Copous of Atlanta, GA, Kevin Robert Copous of Fort Worth, TX and Tommy Lee Copous of Crenshaw, MS and 4 grandchildren. Cooter loved being outdoors and spending time on his land. He could often be found tinkering around the house with lawn mowers, 4-wheelers and even owned a Harley Davidson bike at one time. What he really loved in this life were his 3 sons, his grandbabies and waking up every morning to have coffee on the porch with his wife. All the memories made over the years will be left to cherish by his family, friends and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. He will be greatly missed.
