Robert William Jones, Jr.

Robert William Jones, Jr., 74, Arkabutla, MS passed away Thursday, July 18, 2024. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served in the 25th Infantry in Vietnam. Robert was also a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Sandra W. Jones; daughters, Tommi King (Richard) and Emily Jones; sons, Robert W. Jones III (Lindsay), Hugh Murphy Jones (Melissa), and Willie Shorty (Tasha), whom he loved like a son; sisters, Virginia Moore, Lucy Tillman (Robert), Joy Duval (Robert), and Sarah Lewis, and grandchildren, Wesley McGrew, Miranda Smith (RJ), Libby Jones, Mackenzie Jones, Lilli Fussell, Katie Jones, Emerie Jones, Jack Slay, Allie Kay Jones, Jess Murphy Jones, and Rhett Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Sr. and Tommie Jones and sisters, Eugenia Calk, Julia Bersoux, Margie Weaver, and Bernice Churosh.
