Roger Lane Brown, 75, of Senatobia, MS passed away at his residence on September 15, 2021. He was a Vietnam veteran having served in the Navy as a Radarman aboard the Kitty Hawk, Enterprise, and Topeka. During his time in the Navy, he met and married the love of his life, Mildred Ann Allen, to whom he was married over 54 years. After separating from the Navy, he worked for North American Rockwell doing testing on the Apollo space capsule. The couple moved to Baton Rouge, LA in 1968 to get closer to family. It was in Baton Rouge that Roger embarked on a career with Bell South that lasted 31 years and finished up in Senatobia, MS. He enjoyed church, deer camp, fishing, fixing old boat motors, LSU football, eating fried crappie, and most of all being at home with family. Roger is survived by his wife, Mildred Ann Brown of Senatobia, MS; sons, Jeffrey Lane Brown (Anna) of Hernando, MS and Chadwick Paul Brown of Hernando, MS; brother, Gary Wayne Brown of Senatobia, MS; and 6 grandchildren, Piper, Hayden, Bayley, Claire, Belinda and Mae. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Paul Brown and Idell Henry Brown. Roger was a member of Solid Rock Assembly of God in Senatobia.
