Ronny Jamison

Ronald “Ronny” Wayne Jamison, 82, passed away at his home on July 16, 2025. He was born January 30, 1943, in Poagville, Mississippi. He graduated from Independence High School, earned his associates at Northwest Community College, and worked at Dual Fast as a Service manager for 33 years while farming in Independence, Mississippi.

Visitation will be at 2:30 pm until a celebration of his life at 4 pm on Saturday - July 19, 2025 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church located at 9290 Highway 306, Coldwater, Mississippi. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Jamison and their two daughters, Tish Jamison Davis (Jim Davis) and Tammy Jamison Johnson (David Johnson), his grandchildren, Jessie Campbell (Glen Campbell), Chad Johnson, Devon Johnson (Melanie Johnson), Brianna Smith (Josh Smith), and Chelsea Jenkins (Jonathan Jenkins), his great grandchildren, Rhealyn Bain, Kynlee Campbell, Henry Jenkins, and James Peyton Jenkins.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse Lee Jamison Jr. and Mary Kathrine Jamison and his brother Bro. Jerry Jamison.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
