Rosella "Rosie" Dougherty

Rosella "Rosie" Dougherty, 99, of Coldwater, MS passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at Desoto Healthcare. Known by most as "Big Mama," Mrs, Rosie was loved by her family dearly just as she loved them. She taught bible studies in her younger years and liked to cook. She was a member of Coldwater Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Stovall Dougherty and brothers, Buddy Graves and Robert Graves. She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Bush (Carl) of Cordova, TN, Sally Stevens (Wood) of Collierville, TN, and Roberta Veazey (Butch) of Southaven, MS; sister, Sara McElory of Jackson, MS, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
