Ruth Wilkerson

Ruth Wilkerson, 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, November 7, 2024, surrounded by her family. Ruth was a member of Victory Baptist Church. She loved to go fishing and enjoyed cooking for her family.

Ruth is survived by her husband, Ernest Wilkerson; daughters, Nancy Whitehead (Alvin) and Cynthia Wilkerson (Joe); son, Ernie Wilkerson; sisters, Lynn Gore, Peggy Word and Carolyn Wilkerson; brothers, Jesse Holliman and Merle Holliman; sister-in-law, Jean Holliman, six grandchildren, Cacey (Philip), A.J. (Miranda), Allen (Ada), Kaitlyn (Michael), James and Matthew; and nine great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents, Jesse and Opal Holliman; eight siblings; and granddaughter, Megan Cook.
