Ruth Anne Pitts Shackleford

Ruth Anne Pitts Shackleford, 79, of Senatobia, MS passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024. She had a love for teaching country line dancing. Ruth sang at nursing homes and Coldwater Church. She loved to shop and spend time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Lori Anne Glidewell (Kevin) of Senatobia, MS and Cindy Carol Hollinger (Jimmy) of Sardis, MS; best friend, Julie Branch of Sledge, MS; sister-in-law, Donna Pitts of Hernando, MS; grandchildren, Kimberly Lockett (Joe), Kendall Jones (Jazlyn), Kyle Glidewell (Stormie), Mathis Glidewell, and Hannah Glidewell and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.H. "Red" and Jennie Ruth Pitts and brothers, Jerry Howard Pitts and Edwin Alvin Pitts. Memorials may be sent to the Shriner's Hospital.
