Sherrye Lynne Manuel

Sherrye Lynne Phillips Manuel, 65, passed away on November 26, 2019 at Senatobia Healthcare and Rehab in Senatobia, MS. She was the fiancee of the dearly departed Jay Byers from St. Catharines, Ontario. They shared 4 years of faithful companionship together touring the great Canadian mountains before he was called home to our Lord. She was born in Fort Worth, TX on November 30, 1953, to "Jack" Sanford Quest & Ruth Deloy Phillips. She attended and graduated from Coldwater High School in 1971. She was a stay at home mother of three daughters; Stacy Lynn, Jennifer Deloy and Chelsa' Nicole. In the fall of 1998 she opened an Herbal Medicine Store in Livingston, TN and ran it for 4 years until she moved back home to Mississippi where she began working for Dr. Brooks Monaghan as a receptionist at his patient clinic. Sherrye was a member of the Baptist faith. She loved to watch church services on t.v. and read her devotionals and Bible daily. Sherrye was preceded in death by her father, Jack Phillips; mother, Ruth Phillips; brothers, Paul Norris and Terry Norris and her fiance, Jay Byers. She is survived by her sister, Barbara Keisling; brother, Larry Norris; daughters, Stacy (Gary) Allen, Jennifer Dalton and Chelsa' (Shannon) McGee; grandchildren, Blake (Chelsea) Allen, Keith (Elainna) Allen, Kayla Dalton, Tristan (Madison) Dalton, Kashlyn McGee and Aria McGee; great grandchildren, Graycee Allen, Cooper Allen, Marley Dalton and Lane Lance.
