Shirley R. Key

Shirley R. Key, 83, of Independence, MS passed away on August 27, 2021, at her home.  She is survived by daughter, Julie Poynor (Jimmy) of Independence; sister, Virgie Stone of Watauga, TX; grandchildren, Courtney Johnson (Seth), Wess Anglin (Laura), Jacob Poynor, Ashlynn Poynor, Aaron Poynor (Haley), Autumn Malone (Justin); great grandchildren, Macie Johnson, Kylie Johnson, Sawyer Johnson, Mari-Kathryn Johnson, Brock Poynor, Carter Poynor. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years Billy Wess Key; son, Larry Key, parents, Frank and Ola Mae Rushing, sisters, Frances Wilbanks, Mildred Carlisle, brothers, Odis Buel Rushing and William "Pete" Rushing.
