Shirley Fay Jenkins

Shirley Fay Jenkins, 85, of Crenshaw, MS passed away Monday, November 20, 2023 at her residence. She was a member of First Baptist Church Sledge. Shirley played the piano every Sunday for many years at Crenshaw Baptist Church and First Baptist Church Sledge. She also enjoyed quilting. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Jenkins, Jr.; parents, D.W. and Modess McGregory; sisters, Mary Jenkins and Sarah Perkins and brothers, Wayne McGregory, Gene McGregory, Eddie McGregory, and James McGregory. She is survived by her daughters, Betty J. Howell (Vernon) of Marks, MS, Brenda Vaughn (Dean) of Sarah, MS, and Barbara Jones (Ricky) of Sarah, MS; son, Brian Jenkins (Kristy) of Crenshaw, MS; sisters, Dot Parker of Byhalia, MS, Patsy Edwards of Bebe, AR, Linda Humphrey (Bobby) of Tupelo, MS, and Peggy Bowie (Barry) of Atoka, TN; grandchildren, Mandy, Brittany, Casey, Christy, Kaylea, Rick, Blake, Cody, Courtney, and Drake and 15 great grandchildren. Pallbearers for the service will be Rick Jones, Blake Jones, Cody Jenkins, Sterling Dade, Harrison Dade, and Levi Dade. Honorary Pallbearers will be Casey Howell and Drake Jenkins.
