Susan McCormick

Susan McCormick, 72, of Senatobia, MS passed away March 22, 2025 at Baptist Collierville Hospital. She was born to James P. and Nelda F. McCormick on September 27, 1952. Susan was a member of Senatobia First Methodist Church. She taught for 30 years in the Strayhorn school system and after her retirement worked part time at Pate-Jones Funeral Home for many years. Susan’s last three years were spent at Culpepper Place Assisted Living in Olive Branch where she instantly connected with the residence and staff there. She was loved by everyone and was well cared for. She was a friend to all that knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Susan is survived by her brother, Tommy McCormick of Senatobia, MS; nephew, Jason McCormick (Jana) of Collierville, TN; great niece, Mandy Borth; and great nephews, Parker Borth and Preston McCormick. Memorial donations may be sent to the James P. and Nelda F. McCormick Foundation Scholarship at Northwest Mississippi Community College or to Senatobia First Methodist Church.
