Tennie Persful, 87, passed away on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at her daughter’s home in Strayhorn, Mississippi. She is survived by her daughters, Mary Arnold (Stan) of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Debbie Russell (Mike) of Strayhorn, Mississippi; sister, Helen Marie Gipson of Salem, Arkansas; grandchildren, Chris Arnold of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Anna Rines (Tim) of Hernando, Mississippi, and Sarah Tankersley (Cody) of Owens Cross Roads, Alabama, and 4 great grandchildren. Tennie was preceded in death by her sister, Amy Lou Mason, and brother, Henry Gipson.
