Teresa Kaye (Wright) Stone, 62, of Senatobia, Mississippi, passed away on May 15, 2026. She was born on November 5, 1963, in Clarksdale, Mississippi, and lived a life filled with music, laughter, love, and a spirit that was completely her own.

Teresa loved music of every kind. If it was playing, she was listening. She especially loved going out to hear local bands, dancing, and being surrounded by people. Music was her joy, her escape, and one of the ways she connected so deeply with others.

She is survived by her mother, Carol Josephine “Jo” Wright; her daughter, Amanda Stone Smith and husband Kaleb Smith; her son, Phillip Stone; and her grandson, Parker Williams, who was truly the light of her life. Teresa loved Parker fiercely, and everyone who knew her knew just how proud she was of him. It was often joked that she worshipped the ground he walked on and honestly, she did.

She also leaves behind her brother, William “Marty” Wright; her niece, Tiffany Sanchez and husband Jose; and their children, Leilani and Luke Sanchez, whom she loved dearly. Teresa also leaves behind a large extended family and countless friends who became family over the years. She never met a stranger, and the people she loved stayed in her heart forever.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky Thomas Stone; her father, William Seal “Buddy” Wright; and her baby brother, Michael Shae Wright.

Teresa will be remembered for her unforgettable laugh, her love of music and dancing, her stubborn streak, and the fierce love she carried for the people closest to her. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the stories, memories, and laughter shared by all who knew and loved her.

 Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, beginning at 2:00 PM, with funeral services to follow at 3:00 PM.
