Terry Gene Bernard

Terry Gene Bernard, 69, of Independence, MS passed away at his residence on August  9, 2022. He was a lifelong cattleman and ran a hay operation.  In his earlier life, he enjoyed hunting.  He loved showing quarter horses and his country life sitting on his porch.  He is survived by his wife, Pat Bernard of Independence; daughter, Melissa Evans (Steve) of Hernando; son, Gary Bernard (Christy) of Independence; stepdaughter, Bridgette Camille Doyle (Kevin) of Poagville; stepson, Ricky P. Perkins (Leslie) of Greenleaf; mother, Sally Brown (Howard) of Hernando; sister, Mary Ellenberg of Byhalia; grandchildren, Matthew Bernard, Ashley Evans, Emmy Evans, Olivia Grace Bernard, Emilee Clark, Haylee Clark, Leah Doyle, Brandon Doyle, Wyatt Doyle and Bryson Doyle and great grandchildren, Blayden Avery Doyle and Lennex Reign Doyle.  He was preceded in death by his father, Guy Bernard and grandson, Ethan Evans.
