Vera Leland Moore

Vera Leland Moore, 84, of Arkabutla, MS passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence. She worked at William Carter Company for 40 years. She is survived by her daughter, Linda Smith (Mike) of Sarah, MS; sister, Gennie Morell (Chuck) of Clio, MI; brothers, Wayne Dunn (Lori) of Talladega, AL, John Dunn of Indiana, Steve Dunn of Indiana, and Neal Dunn of Indiana; grandchildren, Michael Scott Smith (Amy), William Tyler Smith and Michael William Smith and great grandchildren, Sally and Suzy Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Riley "Snooks" Moore; sons, Thomas Riley Moore and William Brian Moore; parents, J.D. and Vera Dunn; brothers, Dee Dunn, Bobby Dunn, James Dunn and grandson, Brandon Riley Moore. Memorials may be sent to Surrette Cemetery Fund c/o Lawrence Moore P.O. Box 73 Arkabutla, MS 38602.  A graveside service will be held Friday, January 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Surretts Cemetery. The family request that everyone please wear a mask to the service.
