William Shepard Obituary
Willie E. Shepard Jr. (Bill) was born on November 4th, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee. He was a well respected Lawyer, English Professor and a well accomplished Pianist. He loved life to the fullest and whenever he walked into the room, it instantly lit up with his beautiful smile. Bill was always up for a good adventure and loved his God, family, friends and gospel music. He loved traveling the country seeing beautiful sights, trying new restaurants and taking lots of pictures. Everyone who met Bill instantly fell in love with him. Bill entered his eternal home on November 4th, 2021 in Southaven, Mississippi in the arms of his best friend, Marc Cave and his dear cousin Mary Bertani. He was proceeded in death by his father, Willie E. Shepard Sr. and loving mother, Blanche Shepard. He is survived by his best friend, caregiver and constant companion, Marc Cave; along with a host of other relatives and friends who loved him dearly. Bill moved on to his eternal home, but he will live on forever in the hearts of all of us who loved and cherished him.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9th, 2021 at Lindenwood Christian Church located at 2400 Union Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee from 4:30-6:30pm.
Home going celebration will be Wednesday, November 10th, 2021 at Lindenwood Christian Church located at 2400 Union Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee at 10:00am.
