Obituary
William E. "Pete" Yount, 79, of Senatobia passed away on April 9, 2023 at Delta Health Highland Hills in Senatobia, MS. He worked for Entergy for thirty-nine years. Pete was an avid sportsman who loved deer and duck hunting and fishing. Also, he enjoyed playing with his cows until his health would not allow it. He is survived by his wife, Dianne Yount; daughter, Memory Faye Cook; sons, Julius Earl Yount (Leann) and William Yount (Holli); brothers, Ronald Yount and Ray Yount; grandchildren, Kelsey Poindexter, Kayln Cowdin, Nathan Yount and Ben Tyler; and great grandchildren, Piper Poindexter and John Peter Poindexter. He is preceded in death by his parents, J.K. and Mary Yount and sister, Charlotte Yount. Memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
